Vocabulary
Words
missionary-a person whose mission is to go
somewhere to help others
sermon-a speech, usually religious in nature,
given by a priest, rabbi, or other religious leader as a part of a service.
exception- something that is left out or not done
on purpose or something that does not follow the rule
constellations- a group of stars that form a pattern
and have been given a name based on its shape.
congregation- a group of people who adhere to a
common faith and often attend a given church
Our
vocabulary test will be Friday 8/17.
Your child should begin to study these words.

Homework
The weekly subject schedule for homework
will remain the same as follows.
Mon.- Spelling (colorful words week 1,
triangle week 2)
Tues. – Math Concepts
Thurs.-Vocabulary Activity
*The students should read 20 minutes each
night and record nightly in their agenda. Students should also practice their
math facts daily.
* Some of your child’s Math homework will
be in a textbook. Textbooks must be
returned to school each Tuesday!
